Honoring Our Servicemen and Women

Our prayers, our thoughts, our hearts go out to the men and women performing military service for our nation, and in particular to those who are members of our families and community. Do you have a family member, friend, co-worker or neighbor who is serving in the military? Whether they serve in the US or abroad, we have a place of honor for them that will also keep them in the forefront of our prayers.

This month we have established a new section of the Parish Community Bulletin Board in honor of our servicemen and women. Please take a moment to place a small photo of those in the military that you know in the labeled envelope hanging on the bulletin board. Be sure to pencil their name, where stationed, and hometown on the back of the photo.Prayer of those in Military Service

Then, be sure to take the opportunity to view the photos of all those who are sacrificing so much for their country and offer the prayers that God puts on your heart.

For further information about this special ministry, contact Cate Buckley, Barbara Corey, Carolyn Hermanns, Jeanie Hoyle, or Christine Stuart. Call the church or login to the Directory for contact details.
