Daughters of the Holy Cross
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the Holy Cross is to gather Anglican women and girls into a nurturing and empowering community to serve our Lord Jesus Christ as He unites and builds up His Body, the Church.
The Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross is composed of women who have committed our lives to the work and service of our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray daily for our church, its clergy, the Order and others in need. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we reach out to those who do not know Jesus and share His message of salvation through word and deed. We equip ourselves with the powerful sword of truth as contained in the Holy Bible. We wear our cross as a symbol of Jesus sacrifice and our need for Him to be in our daily lives and we become encouraged and strengthened in community with our sisters.
The Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross was Instituted on September 12, 2009 in Loganville, GA.
On January 3, 2010 at Glory of God Anglican Church in Cocoa, Florida, The Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross was instituted as a Charter Chapter. Eight Glory of God members were installed as charter members of the Chapter of St. Anne.
For more information about the Order, visit the national DHC website
Our local Chapter is dedicated to upholding our parish and our rector in prayer. On a weekly basis we deliver the altar flowers after Sunday service to the sick or shut-ins. To find out more, contact Millie DeVee
