Order of St. Luke

The International Order of St. Luke the Physician is an ecumenical organization dedicated to the Christian healing ministry. It is a body of Christians who believe that the healing of the body, mind and spirit is a vital part of the total ministry of Jesus Christ, and who practice this ministry with teaching and prayer.

We believe that the healing ministry of Jesus Christ belongs in the church today. Professional people in all phases of medical work, clergy in the ministry of the Roman, Orthodox, Anglican, and Protestant Churches, and lay people from all walks of life, are members of the International Order of St Luke the Physician, Inc.  In other words, laity and clergy are invited to join the International Order of St Luke the Physician and participate in Jesus’ healing ministry.

Because the order is interdenominational, the chapter may meet in a church or other public place. Chapters are not necessarily managed by the churches that sponsor them.

We Believe

The revival of Christian healing in the church today may be a means of the greatest advance of Christianity in this century.
God’s healing power operates within the church which is the body of Christ on earth, through its membership.
God works through human channels to do His healing.
We must make ourselves fit and willing channels for this work.

At Glory of God Church
We have a monthly schedule, taking turns to pray weekly for anyone who wants healing.
